Welcome to the UN OCHA Civil Military Coordination Lessons Observed database OCHA's Civil Military Defence Unit(CMCS) has been compiling significant Civil Military Coordination (CMCoord) lessons learned for several years. This has been done in an effort to continually enhance CMCoord processes by capturing best practices as well as noting areas for improvement. These reports cover actual operations and lessons observed during exercises. This database has been developed to make the Lessons Observed more available and, thus, to improve future operations. Inputs from previous operations and exercises have been entered into the database. A User ID and Password is required and you may apply for access by using the button below.
