Contact OCHA
OCHA supports disaster response preparedness at national, regional and global levels.
National and regional preparedness is supported by a network of OCHA National and Regional Disaster Response Advisors - NDRAs and RDRAs.
Field staff are supported by dedicated headquarters entities including:
Emergency Services Branch (ESB): responsible for developing, mobilizing and coordinating the deployment of OCHA's international rapid response tools and services in support of countries affected by major emergencies.
Coordination and Response Division (CRD), including its Early Warning and Contingency Planning Section (EWCPS): providing guidance and support to the Emergency Relief Coordinator, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinators and OCHA Field Offices, including on natural disaster matters, and providing early warning services.
Emergency Preparedness Section (at ochaeps@un.org): responsible for supporting disaster response preparedness activites at all levels. For more information on EPS activities, click here.
OCHA staff can find up-to-date contact information on the OCHA Intranet and the OCHA Staff & Contact Management System.
